Nicholas goes briefly still, but he doesn't comment and continues with what he's doing as if he hadn't heard. Arashi's physical reaction to that statement would be harder for Harvestman not to notice, since he'd easily be able to feel the icy stiffness that goes straight through him.
"Master Grigore apparently voted to have me executed when I showed up before the Council two and a half centuries ago," Arashi says after a second or two, just as casual. That makes Nicholas pause again, and audibly sigh. "And then he did it again last year, so. Maybe it's a thing with them."
This time, Nicholas does glance back at them both. "Why don't you head home," he tells them, not discourteously. "You both deserve a break."
